They are part of the forest patrolling team in Pakke Tiger Reserve, and this film is the story of Pakke through their eyes. A very special project as this is the first film by anyone from the forest patrolling team itself - the people who themselves protect this forest. Green Hub Fellow: Pelevizo Meyase (2017-18) Organisation: CEDAR - ATREE, Meghalaya Forest Department Narpuh Wildlife Sanctuary is the only remaining sub tropical forest in Khasi an Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya. The film looks at how the forest department is working towards protecting this last piece of wilderness in the region. With most of the community forest areas gone due to extensive mining, Narpuh Wildlife Sanctuary is like an oasis which offers a refuge to wildlife as well as the people living in the fringes.
