Forest Project
Pilot learning sites for conservation based livelihood projects initiated by community based Green Hub fellows, through collective participation. Two sites currently under the project are Dongkamukam in West Karbi Anglong, Assam led by Serlibon Timungpi and Changlangshu, Mon, Nagaland led by Sangti Wanmai.
Under the Canopy
A conservation education program which looks at scaling up environment education through the Green Hub fellows network, in collaboration with schools and communities. The program was the outreach extension of the film ‘The Wild Meat Trail’, and was initiated in 2010 in Chizami, Nagaland in collaboration with North East Network. It is being revived now with a cohort of fellows.
Community based Eco-tourism
Initiated in partnership with Titli Trust and Ecosystems India, to build capacities of communities for site specific ecotourism. The model is grounded in collective action for biodiversity conservation. It is being piloted in Fakim Village, Kiphire, Nagaland and Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong, Assam.
